Digital Specialist

Are you a versatile Digital Specialist that has the ability to execute digital marketing and e-commerce strategies?

About the role:

As Digital Specialist you will play a crucial role in working with both Candid clients as well as growing the Candid business through both digital marketing & ecommerce activities. You will work closely with the founders of Candid in creating & delivering strategies, managing online marketing channels, analysing data ensuring our clients online businesses are maximising digital opportunities.

This position offers an excellent opportunity to play a significant part in the growth of a number of online businesses in the dynamic and fast-paced world of online marketing, working hand in hand with senior leadership.

Responsibilities & duties:

  • Collaborate with the wider team to design, develop, and implement digital strategies that align with client objectives.
  • Manage and optimise PPC campaigns, ensuring ROI and meeting client KPIs.
  • Analyse and report on website analytics, PPC campaigns, and other digital marketing initiatives.
  • Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to be implemented in strategies.
  • Collaborate with designers and developers to ensure websites are optimized for SEO and user experience.
  • Lead social media initiatives, creating engaging content and managing advertising campaigns across platforms.
  • Contribute to the development of proposals and pitches for prospective clients.
  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise tasks based on deadlines and importance.
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders on account & campaign performance against business objectives.

Qualifcations & skills:

  • Proven experience in digital marketing, preferably in an agency setting.
  • Proficient in Google Analytics, Google Ads, and other relevant digital tools.
  • Solid understanding of search engine optimisation (SEO) practices.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and translate data into actionable insights.
  • Proficiency with content management systems (e.g., WordPress).
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

Preferred:

  • Certification in Google Analytics or Google Ads.
  • Previous experience working with a diverse range of industries in both B2B & B2C settings.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Mailchimp).
  • Knowledge of emerging digital trends such as AR, VR, or voice search.
  • A passion for continuous learning and professional development in the digital sphere.

Work Perks:

Working Hours: 9:30am to 3:30pm are our core working hours, the rest is flexible, we work around your productivity!
Location:  We are a remote-first company but there is a contingent based around both the Nottingham & Central London areas. It would be fantastic if we could meet you during your onboarding and regular team get togethers.

Salary: £28,000 – £33,000 depending on experience
